CHAI are back with a new song, and it comes with an accompanying animated video. The Japanese quartet’s new one is called “Ready Cheeky Pretty,” and its video was co-directed by Hideto Hotta and the band’s bassist YUUKI (who also illustrated the video). Watch it below. The band have been sharing livestreams three times a week on Instagram Live on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11 p.m. Eastern. The band have also covered Kyu Sakamoto’s “Ue o Muite Arukō,” which is commonly called “Sukiyaki Song.” The Japanese standard is often sung during times of strife to help uplift people.
