Delighted to announce their latest collaboration with Italian fine wine company, Donnafugata, Dolce & Gabbana explore this all-new venture with the launch of Rosa – a fruity rosé wine with floral personality.

Blending sartorial excellence, an authentic atmosphere, art and culture with sophisticated packaging, Dolce &Gabbana projects Sicily into a refreshingly elegant and refined dimension, which aligns immaculately with the Donnafugata brand.

With the aim of spreading positivity and rebirth, both brands express an inherent love for their native land, attention to detail, masterful craftsmanship, and are united by the desire to spread the colours, scents and history of the Sicilian culture across every corner of the globe.

Rosa is characterized by an original blend of two of the most important autochthonous vines of the island’s tradition: Nerello Mascalese and Nocera. Easily distinguished by a refined pink tinge, this wine is defined by an elegant bouquet of jasmine, enriched with delicate hints of wild strawberry, peach and bergamot. Nerello Mascalese, which evokes mineral notes and a floral delicacy, is derived from volcanic soil and the microclimate of the northern slopes of Mount Etna, where it is produced, whilst the Nocera grapes adds a captivating fruity component.

Made in small quality productions from unique territories and vineyards, Donnafugata is the purest expression of a bona fide and sustainable Sicily. The Rosa will thus be available for sale online from June 2020.
