Giovanni Garrone depicts a world where the global pandemic never ceases to exist, featuring eerie portraits of famous urban landmarks, overrun by rich vegetation

Showcasing a series of black and white imagery, which he dubs ‘Beyond’, Amsterdam-based designer, Giovanni Garrone depicts a world where the global pandemic never ceases to exist. Featuring eerie portraits of famous urban landmarks, overrun by rich vegetation – ‘Beyond’ introduces the audience to the imaginative world inside Garrone’s mind, where the earth’s most mythical places are unrecognizable, and flourishing nature is free to overtake its rights.

Revered for his other illustrative projects such as, ‘100 Shades of Rodman’, ‘Donald WTF Trump’ and ‘Surf Up Your Mind’ – ‘Beyond’ exhibits a multitude of monumental locations including, the Saint Peter’s Basilica, the Eiffel Tower, San Marco Square, and the Statue of Liberty.
