The Flaming Lips were the musical guests on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon! last night (September 11). They performed “God and the Policeman” from their brand new album American Head. The studio version of the song featured backing vocals by Kacey Musgraves. This new cllip for late-night TV sees every band member encased in an isolation bubble, similar to their “Race for the Prize” performance on Colbert. Watch it go down below.

The Flaming Lips announced American Head back in June. It follows 2019’s King’s Mouth LP. The new album features previously-released singles “Flowers of Neptune 6” (with Kacey Musgraves), “My Religion Is You,” and “Dinosaurs on the Mountain.”
