Last year, Tegan and Sara released the memoir High School, which detailed the Quin sisters’ experiences growing up and forming a band. Now the memoir is being adapted into a TV series by Clea DuVall, Plan B Entertainment, and IMDb TV (Amazon’s free streaming service), according to Deadline. DuVall will write and direct the pilot for the “coming-of-age comedy” that is set to “a backdrop of ’90s grunge and rave culture.” Tegan and Sara will also be executive producers on the show.

Tegan and Sara’s last album was 2019’s Hey I’m Just Like You, which coincided with their memoir and featured re-recorded versions of songs that the duo initially wrote in high school.
