Allowing readers to experience the Sistine chapel through its pages with a precision, colour, detail, and proximity that can’t be achieved in person – Callaway Arts & Entertainment has launched an all-new super-deluxe three-volume collector’s limited edition of 1,999 numbered sets of the Sistine chapel with a legitimate Vatican museum’s authenticity seal. Worth at least USD $20K, the book features 822 pages with images highlighting state-of-the-art colour accuracy and printing fidelity colour-matched against the actual frescoes, to produce a 1:1 life-scale rendering of masterworks by Michelangelo, Botticelli, Perugino, and other renaissance artists.

Deemed the first authorized publication of its kind, this Sistine chapel photography book will never be reprinted. Encompassing over 270,000 digital images taken over the course of 67 consecutive nights, the book showcases never-before-seen angles, taken in gigapixel digital photography, whilst using a 33-foot-tall scaffold and rig. Stitched together through a variety of imaging software, the book is current available for preorder online and is scheduled to go live on 1st November 2020.
