A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie was arrested on Monday after police found guns and marijuana at his home in Demarest, New Jersey, NorthJersey.com reports. The rapper was charged with weapons and marijuana possession and a disorderly persons violation. His manager faces drug charges and his personal security guard was charged with illegal weapons possession as a result of the search.

Although New Jersey residents voted to legalize recreational marijuana, it’s currently illegal in the state. The arrest came after the rapper celebrated his 25th birthday on Sunday at a nightclub in Teaneck, New Jersey when a shooting broke out across the street. Police said the rapper was never believed to be a suspect and that the search of his home was unrelated to the incident.
