Sephora Collection debuted a makeup collab with Coach

On March 2, Sephora Collection announced an exclusive collaboration with American fashion house, Coach, featuring design elements inspired by Coach’s free-spirited aesthetic. Complete with colour palettes, brushes, eye masks, lip and nail products, the limited edition Sephora Collection x Coach collection ranges from $21 to $90. “I wanted to create something playful but also very Coach — really rooted in a rich colour palette that recalls our leather heritage,” said Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers in a statement. “Like a beloved bag or favourite piece of outerwear, makeup is about creativity and style and with Sephora we were able to find another way to celebrate self-expression.”

Toronto-based business Velour Lashes and Beauty is taking a stance on the ongoing issue of anti-Asian violence by donating 10 percent of net proceeds throughout the month of March to Stop AAPI Hate in the US, and CPAC in Canada. “We recognize as an Asian-owned beauty brand, we have a responsibility of being a voice in our community,” wrote the brand on Instagram. CND launched the Colours of You collection and a collab with 12 nail artists

CND’s Spring 2021 collection is called The Colours of You and features six shades that celebrate individuality and self-expression. For the launch, the brand collaborated with 12 talented nail artists who each created a creative digital campaign using the new shades. “This audacious collection was created to let your identity shine through, express your style and instantly elevate your mood,” said CND co-founder Jan Arnold. “These spring shades exude positivity and are the visual inspiration to be true to yourself above all.”

Freck Beauty launched at Sephora in the U.S. and Canada

TikTok’s favourite beauty brand, Los Angeles-based Freck Beauty (most well-known for its faux freckle cosmetics), has launched on Sephora.ca and Sephora.com this week, and will be entering over 300 Sephora stores across Canada and the U.S. on April 9. Freck Beauty, the brand for “anyone who cares about ingredients, respects the process, but doesn’t care about the rules” will be part of the Clean at Sephora category, and will include offerings from Freck’s colour cosmetics, skincare products and more.

Pai Skincare released its first oil product in seven years

Clean beauty pioneer Pai Skincare has launched its first oil product in seven years, the fast-absorbing and calming Light Fantastic Ceramide Face Oil. “It feels like spring in a bottle,” says Sarah Brown, Pai Skincare founder. “We started working on it in the spring of 2019 but it feels incredibly relevant now. Its fundamental purpose is to calm the skin. It’s anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant.
