Wendy Stuart Kaplan and Steven Bloomer-Teague will be hosting TriVersity Talk this Thursday at 7 pm ET with featured guest Sarah Hallonquist.
TriVersity Talk is a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community. With TriVersity Talk!, the goal is to laugh and learn.
TriVersity Talk! Is part of TriVersity’s ICARE Initiative. ICARE stands for Increasing Community Awareness through Relevant Education. ICARE Programs are generously funded by The Greater Pike Community Foundation.
Sarah Hallonquist is the Co-Founder of ‘Dyke Beer,’ along with Loretta Chung, brewing with an activist education mission on Lost Dyke Space, LGBTQ+ Human Rights and Queer Visibility. Sarah and Loretta have been Organizers for Dyke Bar Takeover since 2018 and have been brewing Dyke Beer since October 2020. Their fundraising includes local queer nonprofits, paying new queer artists and performers, and creating more Dyke/non-binary/transgender space in New York and through chapters throughout the world.
Wendy and Steven can’t wait to talk to Sarah about her amazing Beer (we’ve tried it already!), her activism, and all the wonderful things she loves the most: her partner, her friends, family, dogs, Belgian ales, Cubbyhole, meeting new people, and the ocean.
