Singer/songwriter Devon Gordon AKA The RoseCrumbs debut single “Sunflower” is an amazing entry into the world of modern rock. “Sunflower” is a prelude to her upcoming EP, and features Devon on vocals, lead/rhythm guitars and bass, with Jane’s Addiciton’s Stephen Perkins on Drums. Devon wrote the song hoping to put psychedelic rock back into a modern mix and in doing so has successfully created a booming kaleidoscope of sound, energy, and musical color. Currently attending the Pratt Institute, Devon is a classically trained pianist and a self-taught bass and guitar player. As an accomplished visual artist, Devon’s work has been published in The NY Times and exhibited in the Katonah Museum. Devon also founded Noise Art Magazine, a digital publication that features interviews with NYC college artists and musicians as well as art gallery and concert reviews.

“Sunflower” is an upbeat, fun song that is full of energy, and super-rock influenced. It’s an incredible song that brings the party back to rock and roll. A really fun and exciting party. You can hear 70’s/80’s influences in the music updated for a modern 2021 sound. The RoseCrumbs have a unique sound unlike no other bands out today, and the future looks bright for this amazing new artist.
