Damon Albarn appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday (November 12). He where he performed “Darkness to Light” from his new album The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows, coinciding with the record’s release date. Check it out below.

Following Gorillaz’s expansive Song Machine project, which began last fall, Albarn announced his second record with the title track in June. The album is his first under his own name since 2014’s Everyday Robots. In addition to putting his own spin on Paul McCartney’s “Long Tailed Winter Bird,” he’s recently joined Parisian artist Poté on “Young Lies” and co-produced a track that featured Skepta on Tony Allen’s posthumous album There Is No End.
