As part of the Jordan Brand’s holiday season line-up, it is releasing the Air Jordan 4 “Red Thunder” next year January 2022. Earlier updates have indicated that this pair of sneakers will be out in October this year, however, due to unforeseen circumstances it has been pushed back.

Signature to the “Red Thunder” is the colour blocking of black, white and red. While this new pair resembles the classic Air Jordan 4 “Thunder”, the most prominent difference is the replacement of the striking yellow to red. The “Thunder” was first released in 2006.

On the majority of the “Red Thunder”, it is clad in black. Nubuck construction across most of the upper boasts an all-dark makeup, with splashes of reds seen on the mid-foot, moulded eyelets, tongue branding and underneath of the netting on the panels.

The Air Jordan 4 is a popular model that has seen past collaborations with Union LA and Supreme. Just like its predecessors, the “Red Thunder” will be the holy grail for many sneakerheads when it is released next year. Besides just buying this pair for usage, there is an increase in interest with “flipping” these converted shoes.

The market for rare sneakers is on the rise and the community is on the lookout for the next “It” shoes and the “Red Thunder” will be probably be highly sought after.
