The 2022 Newport Jazz Festival lineup has been announced. Nubya Garcia, Makaya McCraven, Sons of Kemet, Esperanza Spalding, Angelique Kidjo’s Remain in Light, Terence Blanchard, BADBADNOTGOOD, and more are slated to perform at the event, which will return to Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island on July 29-31. Sampa the Great, Norah Jones, PJ Morton, Vijay Iyer Trio, the Baylor Project, the Soul Rebels, and many others are also on the bill. Check out the full roster on the flyer below.

Last year’s event marked the return of the festival following a COVID-19-related cancellation in 2020. The 2021 lineup featured Mavis Staples, Wynton Marsalis, Khruangbin, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Andra Day, Cory Wong, Yola, and more.
