It was an unforgettable evening on 26 April, when a group of guests was invited to a private event organised by LUXUO and Martell. The venue for this intimate gathering was at L’Atelier, Martell’s pop-up store located at Scotts Square.

Being the oldest cognac Maison in France, its rich history stretches back to 1715 and its art of blending cognacs is unparalleled. A first in Southeast Asia, L’Atelier curated a memorable immersive experience where cognac lovers can enjoy specially made cocktails and attend masterclasses — VSOP or XO blending.

For the LUXUO x Martell private event, guests were treated to a tour of the space and an introduction to the L’Atelier pop-up store. The highlight of the evening would definitely be the masterclass experience: The Art of Blend (XO), which is only available exclusively to members of Pernod Ricard’s Le Cercle programme.

The session was led by cognac expert and Martell brand ambassador Alston Tian, and emphasised the bold and charismatic personality of the brand’s range of cognac from the VSOP to Noblige and the star of the pop-up, Cordon Bleu. Guests were also introduced to the proper techniques of cognac blending and made their blend of liquor.

The pop-up is available from now till 29 May, and you can book the Martell Masterclass series slots here.
