Celebrated virtuoso, violinist Daisy Jopling will be performing amidst the mystic pyramids of Cairo in Egypt on Sunday November 6, 2022, Â and is offering a live stream that can be experienced all over the world. The concert will begin at 6:00 pm EST with a behind the scenes pre-show which also includes an opening act. At 7:00 pm the main concert extravaganza begins. For the next two days tickets are $10 each and then go up to $15.
This is the very first time an international violinist will be playing a collaborative concert with the famous Egyptian musicians at the pyramids. Daisy will also be recording an album during the showcase, as well as making music history.
Daisy Jopling is a vibrant, and edgy world-class classical/rock musician. Born in London, and based in New York, she has toured the world, recorded nine albums and was previously signed to BMG RCA Victor. She has just recently signed with New York’s premier indie label Tribeca Records (A SohoJohnny Enterprise).
Her solo career began at age 14 with her performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Since she has performed in front of 30,000 people at the opening of the Vienna Festival, and has toured in China in over 53 concert halls with her band. She has showcased her own Awakening at Lincoln Center and created Illuminance on Bannerman Island in New York which aired on PBS. For the last 10 years Daisy has performed in live shows and has often given young instrumentalists and singers an opportunity to perform on stage alongside world-class musicians. She is also President of The Daisy Jopling Music Mentorship Foundation.
