John Pasquale, or SohoJohnny as he is affectionately known, has just celebrated the release of his new Tribeca Records website showcasing a roster of his abashedly, talented artists. Tribeca Records is an ode to all of those out there who had the courage to follow their dream and make it work….
SohoJohnny recalls always having a love for music, especially disco. As a young boy, he converted his garage into a disco nightclub, disco ball and all, and invited his friends to celebrate the music with him. Being raised in the Bronx, this kept him out of trouble, and fed his desire to be in the music business, even then.
The more mature John Pasquale adventured into the world of real estate through his company “Pep Real Estate” where he is now currently one of the biggest business and art pop-up store go to’s in the country, having most of his locations in the most desired neighborhood of Soho in Manhattan.
The even more grown-up Soho also founded the “Let Me Help, Inc.” Foundation, an organization that benefits many different causes. He did this during Covid after the passing of his mom from the virus. He has taken the foundation to new levels of raising awareness and funds through virtual and live shows with many of the Tribeca artists included, as well as legends and icons, including: Sir Patrick Stewart, Rick Wakeman, John Lodge, Leland Sklar, Kim Sledge, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Julian Lennon, Jane’s Addiction’s Stephen Perkins, Testament’s Alex Skolnick, Jane Lynch, Jeff Goldblum, Howard Bloom, world-renowned film composer Randy Edelman, and a cascade of others.
In between a career in real estate, acting, and concert promoting, SohoJohnny had another desire, which he felt destined to create. Tribeca Records was then born, emerging as an independent real choice for artists today.
“We work with young artists to advise, build, and grow their careers in all areas. At the same time, we assist legacy artists in curating there image while building relevancy in today’s market place.”…..SohoJohnny
