Watch Playboi Carti’s Video for New Song “Backr00ms” Featuring Travis Scott

Playboi Carti has released a new song with Travis Scott called “Backr00ms” alongside a music video. Also credited as collaborators are Sexisdeath and Indiana420Bitch. In the clip, the two take turns rapping in a garage near an SUV, while scenes of Carti showering a dancer with money are spliced throughout. Watch it below.

This is the fourth time Carti and Scott have teamed up on a song together, following “FE!N” from Scott’s Utopia, 2018’s “Love Hurts,” and 2017’s “Green & Purple.” While Carti didn’t reveal any other information when sharing “Backr00ms,” it does signal a ramp up in new music from him in general; he dropped the singles “2024” and “Different Day” last month, and appeared on the Idol single “Popular” with the Weeknd and Madonna before that. His most recent album, Whole Lotta Red, came out in 2020.

In February, Carti was arrested for allegedly assaulting and choking his pregnant girlfriend. He’s rumored to appear on the new Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign album, Vultures, which has experienced multiple release delays despite being premiered at listening parties already.
