On Friday June 14, 2024 @ 6:30-8:00 PM Yonkers Waterfront Live Concert Series presents Leon & The Peoples @ Yonkers Pier Amphitheater located at 71 Water Grant St, Yonkers, NY 10701. Leon & The Peoples will transport the audience to the Caribbean as they deliver soulful, melodies, and infectious beats that will have you dancing into the night.
The award-winning R&B/reggae band is led by actor and singer (just) Leon who has starred in movies including The Five Heartbeats, The Temptations, Tiger Woods, All the Right Moves, Cool Runnings, Little Richie, Against the Rim, and many others. He also was featured in Madonna’s music video “Like A Prayer.” Their addicting style of music always prompts excitement, dance and fun.
Aside from his acting credits Leon’s musical endeavors which far beyond the silver screen. The band has earned an International Reggae and World Music Award, and Best International Artist. He is also a producer. He has played City Winery, Chelsea Table & Stage, and the Central Park AIDS walk concert just to name a few and he has sold out every time.
