Director Elizabeth Blake-Thomas Debuts New Pure Flix Series “Shadrach” Premiering Tomorrow

Celebrated director Elizabeth Blake-Thomas is set to inspire audiences with her latest series, “Shadrach,” exclusively on Pure Flix. Known for her compelling storytelling and unique perspective, Blake-Thomas continues to break barriers as a leading female director in the film industry.

“Shadrach” follows the journey of the Wilson family as they relocate from the bustling city to the tranquil countryside, embarking on a path filled with challenges and new beginnings. Amidst the numerous adjustments, twelve-year-old Anna Wilson discovers a mysterious horse while taking a shortcut home from school. This unexpected encounter becomes a catalyst for profound changes, transforming the Wilsons’ lives in ways they never imagined.

ELIZABETH BLAKE-THOMAS is a British award-winning director based in Los Angeles, renowned for her diverse body of work in film and television. Her romantic comedy, Just Swipe, starring Jodie Sweetin of Full House/Fuller House, was acquired by Viacom and is now available on various streaming platforms. Recently, Elizabeth wrapped up directing the action thriller Hunt Club, featuring Mena Suvari and Mickey Rourke. Her previous feature, Caralique, is a family drama starring Disney+ star Isabella Blake-Thomas and Helene Cardona from Chocolat.

In addition to directing, Elizabeth has executive produced the thriller Et Tu, starring Lou Diamond Phillips and Malcolm McDowell, and co-produced Sony AFFIRM’s Moonrise. She is the co-founder and resident director of the entertainment company Mother & Daughter Entertainment.

Elizabeth’s latest directing projects include an episode of Sony AFFIRM’s upcoming show Shadrach and Xumo’s YA supernatural thriller Karma: Death at Latigo Springs, which stars Isabella Blake-Thomas, Tony Todd from Candyman, and Disney Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 3’s Terry Hu and Pearce Joza.
