Arca has teamed up with Tokischa for a new track called “Chama.” She’s also released a moody, Stillz-directed music video shot in a Barcelona forest. Watch Arca and Tokischa dance and flaunt prosthetic baby bumps in the clip below.
Arca began teasing “Chama” last year, later posting photos of herself with Tokischa in the studio. The two artists even performed “Chama” earlier this summer in New York. The new single marks Arca and Tokischa’s first record together.
“This one’s for all the dolls, the queens, and the good little witches,” Arca said of “Chama” in press materials. “If I shine, it’s for us. Courage to all my butterflies in defending softness, tenderness, magic, and sweetness in a world full of hardness. Shine without fear, chamas.”
