Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of raping girl, 13, as five new lawsuits filed against him | Ents & Arts News

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing new sexual assault and rape accusations, including one that involves a 13-year-old girl.

Five new civil lawsuits, obtained by Sky News’s US partner NBC News, were filed on Sunday in the Southern District of New York by Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee.

They include allegations the rapper, known as P Diddy, sexually assaulted or raped the claimants in separate incidents from 2000 to 2022.

Two of the anonymous accusers are men and three are women, including one who alleged Combs raped her when she was 13 years old, according to the suits.

Combs, 54, is also accused of drugging one of the men and the three women, according to the suits.

Mr Buzbee announced on 1 October that he was representing 120 accusers and would be filing their lawsuits against the hip-hop mogul over the coming weeks.

He told NBC News on Sunday that he plans to file a total of seven suits in this latest batch. “We will let the allegations in the filed complaints speak for themselves and will work to see that justice is done,” he said.

“We expect to be filing cases weekly naming Mr Combs and others as defendants as we continue to gather evidence and prepare the filings.”

Mr Buzbee filed six other suits against Combs last Monday.

Combs has been held at a jail in Brooklyn since first being arrested and criminally charged in September, for what prosecutors describe as a long-running scheme of sex trafficking and racketeering.

Combs has denied all the accusations against him.

His team did not immediately respond to a request for comment. They said in a statement shared last week: “Mr Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defences, and the integrity of the judicial process.

“In court, the truth will prevail that Mr Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, man or woman.”

Combs’s team call for accusers to be identified

Federal prosecutors said at a hearing this month they are going through data on more than 90 devices belonging to Combs that were seized at his properties in raids this year and when he was arrested in New York.

His legal team filed a motion on Tuesday requesting that his accusers in the federal sex trafficking case be publicly identified so he can prepare a proper defence.

Combs pleaded not guilty last month to a three-count indictment charging him with using his business empire, including record label Bad Boy Entertainment, to transport male and female sex workers across state lines to take part in recorded sexual performances called “freak offs”.

The three-time Grammy winner is one of the most influential hip-hop producers of the past three decades.

His team is currently fighting his bail denial via New York’s federal appeals court, with the criminal trial set to start on 5 May.

Sky News has reached out to representatives for Combs for comment.
