Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 5 spoilers promise our favorite characters are going all out for Halloween a week before the holiday.
There won’t be a new episode on Halloween week (yes, they’re taking a one-week hiatus already!), but at least we get a fun holiday-themed story.
Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 5 Spoilers Offer Interesting Costumes For Our Favorite Characters
Halloween stories can be hit or miss.
They often use tired TV tropes like dead people who seem like solid, flesh-and-blood people, zombies being real, or other ideas that would be far scarier if they weren’t airing on every show at the same time.
Med might have some of that, but they also will have a staff Halloween party, complete with everyone in costume.
Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 5 spoilers reveal several costumes:
- Dr. Charles as Sherlock Holmes
- Hannah and Mitch as cowgirl and cowboy
- Maggie as a hockey player
- Frost and Naomi in matching electrician costumes
Unfortunately, we don’t know what Sharon and Dennis are dressing as. They’re such a cute couple and I want them in costume!
Of course, Sharon might get a truly scary story instead of a fun costume.
Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 5 spoilers say that she’s on edge, most likely because of the death threats she’s gotten.
So far, Sharon’s story is about psychological manipulation. She’s constantly looking over her shoulder, yet nothing bad has happened to her.
It’s possible that’s what the stalker’s goal is and that the plot twist is that they don’t plan to do anything to hurt Sharon.
However, Halloween would be the perfect time for them to escalate their threats. Sharon’s been trying to ignore them in favor of doing her job, and that could be frustrating to whoever is behind this.
Could Dr. Charles’ Psych Patient Be Tied To Halloween?
Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 5 spoilers say that Charles will clash with returning nurse Jackie about the treatment for a psych patient.
I’m thrilled with how Chicago Med has been handling Jackie’s mental health storyline so far. Hopefully, it won’t be ruined by any silliness, such as someone turning out to really be the vampire or other monster they claim they are!
Dr. Charles is always clashing with someone over treatment, but Jackie is the best person for this job.
She might be reacting emotionally because of her own experience with being hospitalized for psychiatric reasons, while Charles has struggled with guilt over his past mistakes ever since Ripley came back onto the scene.
Charles’ instincts are usually spot-on, though, so if he is concerned about a patient, the people working under him should listen.
Hannah’s New Case Might Lead To Another Powerful Storyline
Before dressing up as a cowgirl, Hannah will work with a pregnant woman who has an autistic son.
I want to get excited, but stories about parents of autistic kids are a minefield.
I’m still burned by the way Parenthood made Max’s autism about how hard it was for his parents to have a kid like him, but if anyone can do a story like this justice, it’s Chicago Med.
Hopefully, this will be less trope-y and more accurate, and if the woman is worried about her second child being autistic, too, Hannah might be able to encourage her.
I’m curious about how Hannah is doing mentally and emotionally and how this storyline will affect her.
It was helpful for her to admit to Ripley that she’d been going to extra NA meetings to ensure she didn’t relapse, but that’s only one step in her emotional journey.
Hannah’s issues stemmed from her patient’s death in childbirth, but resolving them should take time.
It’s not likely that Hannah will be back to her usual self so quickly, and I wouldn’t expect Med to choose that unrealistic path.
Still, the Halloween party might be just what she needs to distract herself from the stress of caring for pregnant patients and her fear of another patient dying because of an oversight.
She is radiant in Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 5 spoilers. Her pink dress suits her well, and she has a huge smile.
I’m sure that Hannah’s mental health will be a season-long storyline, if not beyond, but it’s good for everyone to get a break from their problems once in a while.
I’m also curious about the latest in her relationship with Ripley. Their breakup might have been for the sake of drama, but it was a particularly ugly one.
Until their conversation at the end of Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 4, I was strongly rooting for Hannah to tell Ripley goodbye forever.
Whether they’re worth fighting for depends on what happens during this Halloween episode.
Ripley needs to prove his support of Hannah wasn’t a one-off thing and that he’s done keeping secrets and trying to sacrifice his life for Sully or anyone else.
Hannah’s relationship drama with him is only slightly better than that ridiculous love triangle with Archer and his son during Season 9.
The writers will have to work hard to impress me before I can truly ship this couple.
