Sanlorenzo Octave Joins Burgess Asia Charter Fleet

Octave has accommodation for 10 guests and a huge range of toys

Octave, a 2018 Sanlorenzo SL118 based in Thailand, has joined the Burgess charter fleet. Available for charter in Phuket this season from USD 141,000 per week, the 36.5m superyacht is managed by eight permanent crew including Captain Emil Dumitrele, who has skippered 100m-plus superyachts.

During the summer ‘low season’, the 120-footer will be available from USD 132,000 per week as it cruises across Southeast Asia, with potential destinations including Singapore, Malaysia’s Tioman Island and Indonesia’s Anambas Islands to the east.

Featuring a 25ft beam and a volume of 269GT, Octave is fitted with twin 2,637hp MTU engines as well as zero-speed stabilisers, which reduce rolling at anchor. The yacht can accommodate 10 guests in five cabins, comprising a main-deck master suite plus two VIPs and two twins on the lower deck.

Social areas include a cockpit offering casual outdoor dining and aft views over a waterside zone that includes a drop-down garage door and a hydraulic swimming ladder. A large flybridge includes a covered dining area underneath the hard top plus sofas and sun loungers aft, while a foredeck with integrated sunpads is among other outdoor areas.

The interior features American walnut finishes and elegant parquet flooring. The main deck includes a large saloon flanked by a balcony to starboard, while forward is a formal dining area. Further forward is the full-beam master suite, where hydraulic gullwing windows on both sides offer panoramic views.

Octave has a Williams DieselJet 565 tender, while toys include a jetski, sailing dinghy, wakeboard, paddleboards, inflatable kayaks, towables and floaties, as well as diving and fishing gear.

“Imagine starting the day with a leisurely breakfast on the sundeck, the gentle sea breeze complementing the breathtaking island views. Adventure-seekers can plunge into the Andaman Sea as the crew readies an array of water toys, while those looking to unwind can recline on the foredeck sun pads or shaded flybridge loungers,” Burgess stated.

“As Octave glides towards a secluded island paradise, guests can retreat to her expansive air-conditioned lounge or indulge in alfresco dining on the main deck. At anchor, her zero-speed stabilisers ensure supreme comfort, whether enjoying cocktails on her private balcony off the main-deck lounge or taking a refreshing dip via the hydraulic swimming ladder.”
