Nilüfer Yanya has shared the new song “Cold Heart.” Co-written with her creative partner Wilma Archer, it was one in a collection of tracks that the British singer-songwriter re-approached after wrapping up her most recent tour. “Cold Heart” is also her first new music since releasing My Method Actor, her third studio album, last year. Give the single a listen below.
“This one turned out pretty different to how I imagined it,” Yanya said of the new song. “The initial melody felt very spacious, like there’s room for anything to happen. It felt like a kind of experiment.”
Yanya has a busy summer ahead of her, as she will be on the road touring in support of My Method Actor. Included on her tour route are performances at Glastonbury, Green Man, All Points East, and many more music festivals.
