Taylor Sheridan has been working steadily as a writer, director, and actor for years. During this period, there have been over a dozen actors who have worked with him on multiple projects. Most have teamed up with Sheridan at least twice, with some collaborating with the writer/director on three, four, or even six projects.
Sheridan has been keeping busy in Hollywood. He got his start as an actor and is best known today for producing high-quality action movies and westerns for television and film. He was the screenwriter for Sicario in 2015 and Hell or High Water in 2016. He wrote and directed Wind River in 2017, wrote the screenplay for Without Remorse in 2021, and wrote and directed Those Who Wish Me Dead in 2021. Robyn Lively started acting at the age of six and has been working in the industry for five decades. She’s appeared in Teen Witch and The Karate Kid Part III as well as on the shows Twin Peaks and Saving Grace.
In 2024, Lively showed up twice in Lioness as Senator Amanda Albright, a Democrat concerned with how the kidnapping of Congresswoman Hernandez (Czarina Mireles) could be used politically. That same year, Lively appeared in three episodes of Landman. She plays Ellie, a waitress at an eatery frequented by oilmen in the area called the Patch Cafe.

Stephanie Nur

Born in Cairo, Stephanie Nur is the daughter of an Austrian diplomat and a Syrian painter. She speaks four languages. Recently, she appeared in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 and Netflix’s Mary. Her first project with Sheridan was in the Yellowstone prequel 1883, where she plays a saloon sex worker named Melodi. Her character is featured in the show’s first two episodes.
Next, Nur starred in Lioness as Aaliyah Amrohi. Aaliyah is the daughter of billionaire and suspected terrorist Asmar Ali Amrohi (Bassem Youssef). She also gets romantically involved with Gunnery Sergeant Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira) during the show’s first season.

Dave Annable

David Annable made his acting debut in 2002 and has been working steadily on television with roles in Reunion, Brothers & Sisters, 666 Park Avenue, Red Band Society, Heartbeat, What/If, and Walker. His first role in the Taylor Sheridan cinematic universe was in 2018. Annable appears in four episodes of Yellowstone between 2019 and 2021 as Lee Dutton, the eldest son of John (Kevin Costner) and Evelyn (Gretchen Mol).
Annable reunited with Sheridan in 2023 for Lioness, where he plays pediatric oncology surgeon Neal McNamara. Neal is married to CIA senior case officer Joe McNamara (Zoe Saldaña). Lioness has aired for two seasons, totaling 16 episodes.

LaMonica Garrett

LaMonica Garrett is a professional athlete-turned-actor from California. His first acting role was an appearance on the television drama One Tree Hill in 2008. He’s since landed recurring roles on Sons of Anarchy, Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, and The Terminal List.
Garrett teamed up with Sheridan in 2021 for the show 1883, in which he plays a Pinkerton agent and U.S. Army veteran named Thomas. He works with Shea Brennan (Sam Elliott) to help guide their group across the frontier. After 1883, Garret joined Sheridan’s Lioness to play a QRF member named Tucker.

Michelle Randolph

Michelle Randolph appeared in several TV movies before starring in the 2021 horror movie, The Resort. The following year, she joined the cast of Sheridan’s 1923 as Elizabeth “Liz” Strafford. Liz is a strong young woman engaged to be married to rancher Jack Dutton (Darren Mann).
Randolph’s next Sheridan project was Landman in 2024. She stars as Ainsley Norris, the stubborn daughter of Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) and his ex-wife, Angela (Ali Larter). The first season of Landman ran for 10 episodes and the series has been renewed for Season 2.

Aidan Gillen

Best known for playing Petyr Baelish (also known as Littlefinger) on HBO’s Game of Thrones, Aidan Gillen is an Irish actor who has been working onstage and onscreen since the 1980s. He’s starred in Calvary, Sing Street, The Wire, Peaky Blinders, and Project Blue Book, among others.
Gillen’s first collaboration with Sheridan was in 2021, when he appeared in the film Those Who Wish Me Dead. He played an assassin known as Jack. He then joined the cast of Mayor of Kingstown, where he starred in 22 episodes as Russian mobster Milo Sunter. Mayor of Kingstown has run on Paramount+ for three seasons and has been renewed for a fourth season.

Kelsey Asbille is an American actor who got her start on One Tree Hill in 2005. She’s since appeared in a number of shows, including Pair of Kings, Teen Wolf, Embeds, and Season 4 of Fargo. She first worked with Sheridan in 2017 when she played murder victim Natalie Hanson at the center of the mystery in the film Wind River.
In 2018, Asbille joined the cast of Yellowstone as Monica Long Dutton. Monica is a Native American woman from the Broken Rock Indian Reservation who is married to John Dutton’s youngest son, Kayce (Luke Grimes). Asbille has been in 29 of Yellowstone‘s 53 episodes.

Billy Bob Thornton

Billy Bob Thornton has starred in 100 movies and television shows since the 1980s, including Tombstone, Sling Blade, Armageddon, All the Pretty Horses, Monster’s Ball, Waking Up in Reno, and Goliath. In 1997, he won an Academy Award for Sling Blade in the Best Adapted Screenplay category.
In 2021, Thornton appeared in an episode of 1883 as Marshal Jim Courtright. Three years later, he joined up with Sheridan again for Landman, starring in the role of oil company vice president Tommy Norris.

She plays Elsa Dutton, the eldest daughter of James Dutton (Tim McGraw) and Margaret (Faith Hill) in 1883 and reprises the role in 1923. Her voice can also be heard in an episode of Yellowstone as Elsa Dutton, even though the appearance is uncredited.
