“Voice of Honor” sets a unifying patriotic tone at high-profile venues from Riverhead to Bridgehampton
Long Island is ringing with patriotism this summer as Mark “MK” McLaughlin, known as the “Voice of Honor,” embarks on a powerful Anthem tour across the region. With a voice that commands attention and a heart rooted in service, McLaughlin is opening some of the area’s most prestigious government meetings, community celebrations, and sporting events with his stirring rendition of the National Anthem.
The tour kicked off at the East End Power List celebration, presented by Dan’s Papers and Schneps Media, where McLaughlin honored local leaders with a moving performance that set a patriotic and heartfelt tone for the evening. Recognized figures from across the East End gathered to celebrate service and leadership, led by McLaughlin’s soaring voice.

August 5 – Suffolk County Legislature General Meeting – Riverhead, NY
By invitation of Legislator Catherine Stark, McLaughlin will open the General Meeting at the Riverhead County Center. His performance will establish a solemn and respectful ambiance for the evening’s proceedings.
August 6 – Suffolk County 250th Celebration Kickoff – Suffolk County, NY
Hosted by County Executive Ed Romaine, this historic event brings together elected officials from all levels of government to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary. McLaughlin will lead the ceremonial opening with the National Anthem.
August 9 – Riverhead Chamber of Commerce Cardboard Boat Race – Riverhead, NY
At this beloved community tradition, McLaughlin will energize the crowd with the Anthem before families and businesses race down the Peconic River in handcrafted cardboard boats.

Promoting community safety and responsible fun, this event gives auto enthusiasts a legal and secure place to race. McLaughlin’s performance will launch the evening and reinforce messages of unity and smart decision-making.

One of Long Island’s most historic racing venues, Riverhead Raceway will host McLaughlin as he opens the day with the National Anthem in front of a live and televised audience, honoring racers and spectators alike.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the Hampton Classic is one of the nation’s premier equestrian events. McLaughlin will perform the National Anthem at the opening of the day’s events before a distinguished crowd of athletes, VIPs, and guests.
