Enough Already! Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 12-15-25 Trap Yet Another Person In the Crypt

This crypt storyline has to end soon, but it doesn’t seem like it.

Although the winter preview video showed Chad at the Horton house during Christmas, Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 12-15-25 promise more victims instead of a solution.

This storyline is incredibly redundant and ridiculous, so let’s hope this really is the last week of this nonsense.

Two Victims Bookend the Week While Chad and Theo Give Up Hope

Days of Our Lives’ cliffhanger this week included EJ being dumped in the crypt, too.

You’d think that means he’s a victim too, but you never know with this soap.

EJ was talking to Rita about some grand plan moments before he disappeared, and he obviously went or was taken through the tunnels since Gwen was right outside the mansion, bothering Leo.

Some fans have theorized that EJ is behind the kidnappings and had himself thrown into the crypt to make it look like he’s not. This plan wouldn’t make much sense, but nothing about this story does.

EJ is only one of two victims, and I wonder if the other one will be Mark Green (not that I care much).

The spoiler video shows Mark alone in the secret lab when the FBI (aka Rafe) bangs on the door, so he might be considered a liability and quickly disappeared.

However, this doesn’t make any sense, since the kidnapper is targeting DiMeras — could Rita’s marching orders include bringing Rolf there so he can examine the bones?

We love our favorite shows even when they go totally off the rails, but we call it like we see it.

Whoever they are will probably arrive at the end of the week, after Chad and Theo contemplate their own mortality.

How depressing! Let’s get on with this story already.

The Bones Are The Real Story, And Their Identity Is So Obvious It Shouldn’t Be Right

The captives have been trying to figure out who the bones belong to since they found them, when they’re not off-screen sleeping in another room that has magically appeared.

Chad worried they were Abigail’s, but Theo shot that down, saying the femur is the wrong height and that the bone likely came from a male skeleton.

Given the persistent rumors that Stefano has been recast, coupled with literally every DiMera in Salem being imprisoned in that crypt, it seems inevitable that the big reveal will be that this is Stefano’s corpse.

That would be a disappointing solution to this mystery because it’s so obvious (on top of how utterly disrespectful it would be to Joe Mascalo’s memory.)

Fortunately, there is one flaw in that theory: the person in the pod in the lab.

If the bones are Stefano’s, why did Rolf bring that pod in? Presumably, that’s the person he is trying to resurrect.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 12-15-25 Promise a Huge Return

Who do you think the kidnapper is — and do you care?
Sound off in the comments, and don’t forget to share this article with all your friends so they can join in the conversation.

Peter Blake — last seen in the 1990s — is supposed to return to Salem on December 19.

There are two possibilities: he is the kidnapper or he is one of the new captives.

Since the newest captive arrives the same day Peter does, Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 12-19-25 point to Peter being the latest victim — but then, who is behind all this?

Honestly, this story has dragged on way too long for it to matter.

Among other things, every time the door opens to deposit a new victim, the captives jump back in alarm rather than run out, making this story feel like a Roadrunner cartoon rather than anything resembling reality.

While hopefully there aren’t many real-life cases of families being transported to the crypt one by one, the story should FEEL like it’s actually happening, and this one doesn’t.

The fact that someone is wandering around injecting DiMeras with sedatives while their backs are turned and dragging them to this crypt, yet nobody in town ever sees anything suspicious, stretches suspension of disbelief past its breaking point.

And why was Chad delivered tied up, but no one else was? Trying to make sense of this story gives me a headache, and all I care about is when it will be over.

Fortunately, Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 12-15-25 promise plenty of other things happening in more palatable storylines.

Brady and Tate Try to Comfort Rachel

Even though some of the inaccuracies around mental health treatment are driving me up the wall, this is my favorite story right now.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 12-15-25 promise another visit that will likely end in tears for Rachel.

Rachel begs Brady not to leave her here while a nurse looks in on them on Days of Our Lives during the week of 12-01-25
(Peacock/Screenshot)

Look, the reason Sophia is able to manipulate her is that Rachel’s hatred of Bayview, sense of isolation and abandonment, and deep unhappiness leave her vulnerable to predators.

A visit with Tate and Brady won’t help that, especially if that nurse makes them leave the second Rachel expresses negative emotion, but at least her family is trying to be there for her.

Plus, Tate decided to go to Paris for winter break, even though he’d promised he’d be there for Rachel. In her current state of mind, that’s going to be devastating news.

These scenes will be more Emmy-worthy material for Alice Halsey (Rachel), who has done impressive work already throughout this intense story, and possibly for Eric Martsolf and Leo Howard as well.

I would love it if Brady catches Sophia in Rachel’s room. He’s dealt with Kristen for years and hopefully knows manipulation when he sees it.

(Peacock/Screenshot)

I’m not sure where they’re going with this Sophia nonsense, other than having Sophia get Rachel to do things she shouldn’t when she’s trying to learn skills so she can cope without doing those things.

If it is appropriately written, though, it should get to the point where Rachel is so deep in Sophia’s trap that she can’t see the truth and resents Brady for trying to rescue her from this abusive situation.

As someone who has struggled with addiction, Brady should be able to see the pattern for what it is, but whether he will is anybody’s guess.

In Less Exciting News, Brady Living at The Kiriakis Mansion Will Cause Problems For Xander

If this story stays at the level of Xander being jealous but Sarah and Brady remaining platonic, until one day Sarah takes Xander back, I’m going to be annoyed.

(Peacock/Screenshot)

Usually, I would love for just one of these relationships to be a platonic soulmate type thing, but I’ve shipped Sarah and Brady for almost as long as Rafe and Nicole, and Days of Our Lives already ruined the latter.

Additionally, regardless of who Sarah ultimately ends up with, I’ve had enough of Xander being possessive and jealous to last a lifetime, even if he does catch himself before he goes into bat-swinging mode these days.

Chanel is Likely Pregnant, While Alex and Stephanie’s Story Is Getting Even More Ridiculous

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 12-15-25 show Chanel asking Sarah what her medical tests say.

Despite the drama of this moment, it probably isn’t about her cancer. The winter preview features a surprise pregnancy for already-exhausted Chanel (hopefully without Johnny ending up in the crypt.)

Javi arrives at the scene and checks out the anthrax and its victim on Days of Our Lives during the week of 12-15-25
(Peacock/Screenshot)

Meanwhile, there are no words for how little I care about Alex coming into contact with anthrax while opening a fan lètter from the stalker.

Stephanie and Alex are the most boring couple ever, and this story does nothing to pique my interest in them. If anything, I’m annoyed by the possibility that Jeremy is even remotely involved in this nonsense.
