The Hunting Party has brought out the big guns during Season 2, upping the stakes and featuring well-known actors as guest stars.
We’ve missed the action these last few weeks during this hiatus, especially since The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 4 ended on an emotional cliffhanger that could blow up Shane’s life.
The teasers for The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 5 hint towards a massive case concerning a narcissistic psychopath, who’s even more intent on gathering people to worship him and spread the word.

We’ve seen other episodes about cult leaders, and it’s always a race against time before they convert their followers and cause mass destruction.
Amid the chaos, we expect Bex to address what she knows about Shane’s maternity and how it’ll affect him and the team.
Kelsey Grammer Stars as Noah Cyrus, a Cult Leader
The main appeal of these guest stars has been that many were known for witty roles.
Many of us would never have pictured Kelsey Grammer as a cunning, manipulative cult leader, yet he excels at bringing people together.
Looking at the promo, I can see why Grammer gravitated towards this role. It allowed him to still use humor while going toe-to-toe with Melissa Roxburgh‘s Bex.

He also got to play a terrifying psychopath and lead another generation of disciples.
The spoilers tease that Noah Cyrus reappears 20 years later on an old follower’s doorstep, scaring her since she assumed he died.
That’s likely where things get messy, since all of his followers were supposed to only worship and obey him, and they went and got their own lives once they thought he died.
The Hunting Party specializes in serial killers who crave power and control, and Noah Cyrus fits that profile perfectly.
I’m intrigued because in The Hunting Party Season 1, David Ramsey starred as a disciple who led a cult to clear people’s minds.

This seems way bigger because Noah Cyrus seems to believe he’s God, and we all know how dangerous those types of cults can be.
The Pit Gives Noah Cyrus a Greater Grandiose Personality
The Pit almost always worsens these criminals’ situations rather than improving them.
Before the Pit, Noah Cyrus seemed more like a conman, but after the Pit, when he’s recruiting people, it feels like he actually believes that they should worship and follow him.
What kind of therapy did he endure at the Pit, and did it include that white room in the promo?
Noah Cyrus seems to identify with whiteness. Was that all he knew, because that could be disturbing in itself.
He seems very trigger-happy if people get in his way.
We don’t know what his plans are to spread the word, but we suspect they involve these brothers, one of whom is portrayed by Ted Sutherland.
Ted Sutherland has appeared on several NBC shows, most recently as teenage Oliver Wolf on Brilliant Minds.
I’m also excited to see how he does with a darker role and acting with a legend like Kelsey Grammer.

Chaos Occurs at the Command Center
In a recent interview, Sara Garcia revealed that in The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 5, we’d finally see some action at the command center, too.
We don’t know if it’s connected to the main case, but if it is, it’s possible that one of Noah’s followers infiltrated the base.
We’ll finally get to see how Morales, Jonathan Peck, and Ben Jones work under pressure, and if they join forces or work against each other.
Many fans have wanted to see more of the base and have enjoyed Morales getting a larger storyline this season.
This will be their chance to see her in action, so don’t miss out on this one.

Will Shane Learn the Truth about Col. Lazarus?
Bex hates secrets, so she’ll likely want to tell Shane the truth about Col. Lazarus, but is that in everyone’s best interest, considering she’s now their boss?
That may be the next arc of this story, as the team all has some secrets, and while we may not see any lingering tension, it may bubble over eventually.
I suspect that Shane cares more about fixing things with Bex for lying than about learning who his mom is right now, so it’s always about shifting priorities.
Bring on the Shane and Bex drama. We’re here for it.
Hopefully, they won’t wait too long to reveal what happened to Dr. Dulles, as that will add even more layered drama.
