Listen to Broken Social Scene’s New Song “Hey Amanda”


Broken Social Scene’s first new album in nine years, Remember the Humans, arrives in less than two months, and today, the Canadian supergroup shared another new song from the project. “Hey Amanda” follows lead single “Not Around Anymore,” and per the band, it’s a song “about being yourself, and how people will always question that.” Give it a listen below.

Remember The Humans is due out May 8 on Arts & Crafts, and marks BSS’ first new studio LP since 2017’s Hug of Thunder. In the interim, they also released 2019 Let’s Try the After EPs in two volumes, plus a compilation of B-sides and rarities called Old Dead Young in 2022. BSS will support the new album later this year on a joint North American tour with Metric. (who have a new album of their own, Romanticize The Dive, out April 24) and Stars.
