Hublot’s Big Bang shook the industry with a new standard in modern watchmaking: by breaking away from traditional norms and adopting a contemporary, architectural design language. Sparking conversations revolving around innovation, experimentation, and identity, Hublot positioned itself as a brand that challenges convention rather than follows it. From fusing unexpected materials to gaining mechanical independence through their in-house Unico movement in 2010, the Big Bang evolved into a platform for technical expression, cementing its role as one of the most disruptive and defining watch collections of its era.

This year marks the next major progression in Hublot’s Big Bang family and its household Unico flyback chronograph calibre. Both the Big Bang and Unico undeniably embody Hublot through and through, and instead of a radical shake-up, Hublot refines both entities at Watches & Wonders 2026. The result leaves us with the Big Bang Reloaded that politely nudges the viewer’s attention to its next-generation Unico HUB 1280 calibre.

Instead of the expressive openwork dial from before, the Big Bang Reloaded exercises restraint with its new dial layout, featuring cutouts that expose the coloured dual oscillating clutch (at 8 o’clock) and the column wheel (at 6 o’clock). The Big Bang Reloaded is available in five iterations: Magic Gold, All Black, green and blue ceramic, and titanium with black ceramic.
Big Bang Reloaded Titanium Ceramic 44mm

The titanium and black ceramic reference combines a satin-finished and polished titanium case with a black ceramic upper bezel, delivering a lightweight yet structurally robust build at 44mm. Its satin-finished grey-plated skeleton dial exposes the HUB1280 Unico self-winding flyback chronograph, with the column wheel positioned dial-side for enhanced visibility. The contrast between titanium and ceramic reinforces both durability and legibility, while the integrated chronograph layout, including the redesigned 3 o’clock counter and repositioned date between 4 and 5 o’clock, emphasises functional clarity.
Big Bang Reloaded All Black 44mm

Executed entirely in Hublot’s signature All-Black concept from 2006, this iteration prioritises uniformity in both material and visual depth with satin-finished and polished black ceramic. The matte black-plated skeleton dial integrates seamlessly with the case, reducing contrast while maintaining full exposure of the HUB1280 calibre. Despite its monochromatic execution, the architecture remains highly technical, with the flyback chronograph system, column wheel, and dual clutch still clearly structured within the dial. The use of high-tech ceramic enhances scratch resistance while preserving a lightweight, performance-oriented profile.
Big Bang Reloaded Blue Ceramic 44mm

Famed for its enhanced hardness and colour stability, the blue ceramic variant features a satin-finished and polished blue ceramic case paired with a matching bezel. Its grey-plated skeleton dial is contrasted with blue-toned components, improving legibility across the chronograph functions. The HUB1280 Unico movement remains fully visible on the dial with apertures emphasising the column wheel at 6 o’clock and oscillating clutch at 8 o’clock. The colour integration extends across the case and dial, which reinforces both functional readability and structural coherence.
Big Bang Reloaded Dark Green Ceramic 44mm

Similar to its blue counterpart, the dark Constructed from satin-finished and polished dark green ceramic, this colourway introduces a more muted yet consistent execution of the Big Bang architecture. The black-plated skeleton dial maintains high contrast against the green case, while subtle coloured accents highlight key chronograph indicators. Like the rest of the collection, it houses the HUB1280 Unico flyback chronograph with a 72-hour power reserve, integrating performance with material innovation. The ceramic composition ensures resistance to wear while maintaining structural integrity under active use.
Big Bang Reloaded Magic Gold 44mm

The final piece of the quintet is an interplay of design prowess and technical sophistication, featuring one of Hublot’s proprietary materials, Magic Gold. The gold alloy combines boron carbide with gold and is engineered to be virtually scratch-proof (only a diamond can scratch it). Its polished 18K Magic Gold upper bezel is further accented with polished black-plated titanium and a black-plated skeleton dial. Warm metallic tones contrast against the exposed mechanics of the HUB1280 calibre, highlighting the column wheel and chronograph architecture. Despite its precious metal construction, the watch maintains the same 44mm case dimensions and integrated flyback chronograph system.
