Madame Web Took Shrapnel As Seth Meyers Brought Up Trump Approval Ratings. I Didn’t See It Coming

Madame Web was not critically well-liked and it didn’t do so well when it hit theaters back in 2024. Dakota Johnson said “unfortunately” she was not surprised the Sony/Marvel film was a flop (though it did do well on Netflix later). However, I don’t think anyone involved with the movie probably saw it coming when it took random shrapnel during a segment about Donald Trump and his approval ratings on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Meyers’ monologues have often been political, and a few days ago, he took one of his “Closer Look” segments to focus on Donald Trump’s approval ratings. The bit looked at two polls, one from CNN that had Trump at a 27% approval rating and on from Quinnipiac that had Trump up a paltry 2% at 29%. Meyers kicked off the segment by introducing what was going on with Trump’s White House and more.

Donald Trump’s approval rating hit a new all-time low as the Iran War spiraled further out of control and voters started to wonder if Trump’s strategy of bsing his way though it might not be 100% foolproof. For more on this, it’s time for a closer look.
