Brooklyn rapper Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire has shared a new song produced by Madlib. The track is called “Black Mirror” and it’s dedicated to eXquire’s uncle who died in June. “This record is about Black masculinity and community,” eXquire said in a statement. “Long Live my Uncle Shango who transitioned June 17. I’m deeply saddened and I will never forget you.” Hear “Black Mirror” below.

In early June, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire shared the song “Bootlicker (Burn Baby Burn),” with proceeds going to the Bail Project. Later in the month, he released the album Confessions of a Sex Addict. “I wrote this record as a time capsule for my newborn daughter Ava Marie Allison,” eXquire explained on Bandcamp. “I won’t let her hear this for 18 years.” Listen to Confessions of a Sex Addict below.
