Anderson .Paak has shared a new remix of his recent track “Lockdown” that features guest verses from Noname, JID, and Jay Rock. Check it out below.

The rapper first released “Lockdown” in June, and its video honored victims of police brutality. The new version of the track expands on the social-justice messaging of the original, touching on wealth inequality, violence against Indigenous people, and more. Noname nods to her book club with a line about reading Assata Shakur.
