Phoebe Bridgers has launched her own record label. It’s called Saddest Factory and she will operate it in partnership with her current label Dead Oceans. “The vision of the label is simple: good songs, regardless of genre,” she said in a statement.

In an interview with Billboard, Bridgers confirmed that she has already signed her first act, which will be announced “in the coming weeks.” “It’s always been a dream of mine to have a label, because I’m also such a music fan,” she said. “I felt like if there’s cool stuff, I want to get it going and get it out to people as fast as possible.”

Phoebe Bridgers released her latest album Punisher in June. She performed the closing track “I Know the End” last week on Seth Meyers.
