Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Angelo De Augustine has shared a new song, “Blue,” featuring Sufjan Stevens, who contributes vocals, piano, and guitar. The track will appear alongside their April collaboration “Santa Barbara” on a forthcoming double A-side 7″ single. Check out the video for “Blue,” directed and shot by De Augustine on Super 8 film, below (via Cool Hunting).

“‘Blue’ speaks of an admission in confidence to a friend,” Angelo De Augustine said in a statement. “The eternal and symbiotic bond of mother and child, and an inquisition into our inner pain, investigating if we are forever bound by it.”

Angelo De Augustine released his album Tomb last year via Sufjan Stevens’ Asthmatic Kitty Records.
