My Morning Jacket have announced a U.S. tour. The new run of shows kicks off August 27 with a show at the Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre in Charlotte, North Carolina, and will see the band on the road into November. The itinerary includes a series of co-headlining shows with Brittany Howard in September. Other special guests set to join for select dates include Flock of Dimes, Durand Jones & the Indications, and Bedouine. Find the tour schedule below.
In addition to the headlining shows, My Morning Jacket will perform at festivals including Bonnaroo, Railbird Festival, Ohana Festival, and Suwannee Hulaween. $1 from every ticket from their concerts will be put towards environmental justice, racial equity, and mental health care nonprofits in partnership with PLUS1.
Last year, My Morning Jacket released The Waterfall II, a sequel to 2015’s The Waterfall with material written during the first album’s original sessions. It was the band’s first new album in half a decade. Last August, the band reissued their 2005 record Z on vinyl to celebrate its 15-year anniversary.
