At only 20, Lee Youngji has already established herself as an industry veteran in the South Korean entertainment scene. Rising to prominence with her consecutive firsts in the rap industry, Youngji has notably clinched accolades as the first female and the first to clinch wins in both high profile Korean rap competitions of High School Rapper and Show Me The Money. The Not Sorry singer proves versatile in her portfolio, boasting her very own celebrity reality programme, My Alcohol Diary to booth. The show has hosted some of the most prolific names amongst Korean celebrities including national footballer Cho Gue-sung, K-pop girl group IVE’s Wonyoung and various members from boy band Seventeen. Now, she marks another first with her formal foray into the fashion landscape — Youngji is the first Korean ambassador for the House of Coach.

Clad in offerings from the the brand’s upcoming Fall 2023 collection, the rapper exudes a familiar sense of unabashed confidence, the same quality that propelled her to stardom from her varied appearances across K-entertainment. “I’m thrilled to be an ambassador for Coach, a brand that I enjoy wearing and that inspires me. I can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on together and [am] excited to continue to share my story as part of our collaborations”.

On the team’s decision to induct the rapper as Global Ambassador, Creative Director Stuart Vevers commented, “Youngji is someone who inspires others by being herself. She reflects the spirit of confidence and self-expression that we champion at Coach, as well as our vision for a more inclusive fashion world through the Coach family”.
