The Music Business Is Changing Again — FENIX360 Wants Artists to Lead What Comes Next

For years, the music industry has celebrated the extraordinary reach of streaming. A song recorded in a bedroom can travel around the world overnight, find millions of listeners and turn an unknown artist into a global name.

But there’s an uncomfortable question behind that success story: How much of the value created by all those streams actually reaches the artist?

FENIX360 is putting that question at the center of an ambitious international campaign called “Streaming Reimagined,”and the company’s answer is bigger than simply creating another place to listen to music.

FENIX360 wants to change the business surrounding the artist.

The creator-focused technology platform is bringing together streaming, social media, commerce, live entertainment, artificial intelligence and direct-to-fan monetization in an ecosystem designed to give creators greater control over both their audiences and their income.

This week, that vision is moving onto a global stage.

One Launch, Two Continents

FENIX360 began the celebration on August 25 in the middle of Times Square, joining forces with Wonderama for the inaugural Wonder Games.

Hosted by David Osmond and actress and social media personality McKenzi Brooke, the New York event mixed live music with esports, creator appearances and entertainment, giving “Streaming Reimagined” a very public American introduction.

At the same time, something potentially even more consequential was happening in Mumbai.

At India’s All About Music conference, FENIX360 and Gaana revealed the next phase of their collaboration, previewing an integrated artist social feed and a series of monetization tools expected to reach users more broadly during the fourth quarter of 2026.

The partnership connects FENIX360 with Gaana’s reported audience of more than 40 million monthly visitors, covering music in more than 20 regional languages.

It’s an enormous potential audience, but FENIX360’s proposition isn’t simply about accumulating more listeners.

It’s about changing what an artist can do once those listeners arrive.

A Career Can’t Live on Streams Alone

The modern musician is expected to be far more than a musician.

Artists are now their own media companies, marketing departments, merchandise operations, touring businesses and social brands. They may have millions of interactions with fans scattered across multiple platforms while owning surprisingly little of the infrastructure connecting everything together.

FENIX360 sees that fragmentation as one of the biggest opportunities in the creator economy.

Its platform is designed to bring many of those pieces into one place, allowing artists to generate revenue through streaming, advertising, subscriptions, merchandise, tickets, commerce, collectibles, NFTs and private fan sessions.

The company says artists can receive 70% or more of revenues generated through the platform, including advertising revenue.

That’s a dramatically different proposition from a streaming economy in which payouts can amount to fractions of a cent for an individual play.

For FENIX360 Founder, Chairman and CEO Allan Klepfisz, the imbalance between an artist’s cultural value and economic participation has gone on long enough.

“Empowering artists with disruptive technology is long overdue,” Klepfisz said. “Creators have been told that a fraction of a cent per stream is the best the industry can do, which is not true. We are cutting out the middlemen to level the playing field for creative artists. It is time for the creators to own their own distribution.”

It’s a provocative statement, but it also gets directly to what separates FENIX360’s pitch from the usual streaming conversation.

The company isn’t asking how to squeeze slightly better economics out of the old model.

It’s asking whether artists need to depend on that model in the first place.

Building a Digital Headquarters for Creators

FENIX360’s broader platform is being constructed as something closer to a digital headquarters for an artist’s career.

Alongside streaming and monetization, creators can access custom app and website development, geo-targeted fan notifications, centralized social-media tools, marketing resources and technology supporting touring and live appearances.

Artificial intelligence sits inside that infrastructure as well.

FENIX360 is developing six patent-pending AI technologies — AI4AI, GigBooker, Harmony AI, InstApp, TourBooker and RPM — aimed at different aspects of the creator business, from finding opportunities and connecting with audiences to organizing touring and managing an artist’s growing digital presence.

The underlying philosophy is simple: independent artists shouldn’t necessarily need the infrastructure of a major entertainment corporation to operate like one.

Technology can put many of those capabilities directly into their hands.

Thirteen Countries Join the Celebration

On August 27, the scale of “Streaming Reimagined” expands dramatically with a coordinated international broadcast connecting artists and audiences across 13 countries.

Events and performances will reach Mumbai, New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Munich, Tokyo, Rome, Melbourne, Singapore, Sweden, Jamaica, Costa Rica and Zimbabwe.

The broadcast will also include a special video and song release from three-time Grammy Award-winning composer Ricky Kej.

For a company positioning itself around the borderless nature of the creator economy, the geography matters.

The next generation of global artists won’t necessarily emerge through the traditional music-industry capitals. They can come from virtually anywhere, build audiences everywhere and potentially operate businesses that are global from the beginning.

FENIX360 is building its platform around that reality.

Success With a Social Purpose

The international celebration also carries a philanthropic component.

The August 27 broadcast will help drive support for Teen Cancer America, founded by The Who legends Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, as well as Creative Visions and Share and Care.

Then, on August 31, FENIX360 plans to introduce the FENIX360 Artist Trust, an initiative intended to support artists while advancing charitable causes.

The Trust will be chaired by legendary international concert promoter Harvey Goldsmith CBE, whose extraordinary career includes his involvement in the historic Live Aid concert.

His participation connects FENIX360’s emerging creator technology with decades of experience in the traditional live entertainment world — two sides of the industry that are increasingly converging.

A Company Thinking Beyond the Launch

FENIX360 is already looking past this week’s events.

From its headquarters in Singapore, the company is preparing for further expansion across the United States, United Kingdom and Europe, while pursuing additional international distribution relationships.

It says more than 7,000 artist ambassadors are already participating in its growing community, and FENIX360 is targeting a NASDAQ listing in 2027.

Those plans point toward something much larger than a streaming startup.

FENIX360 is attempting to build an alternative infrastructure for the creator economy — one in which artists aren’t simply content suppliers feeding somebody else’s platform, but entrepreneurs with the tools to control more of their own business.

That distinction may prove increasingly important.

The first streaming revolution changed how the world listens to music.

The next one could change who benefits financially when the world listens.

“Streaming Reimagined” is FENIX360’s attempt to start that conversation on a global scale — with Times Square, Mumbai and thirteen countries providing the stage.

The company is making a sizable bet that creators are ready for something different.

And if FENIX360’s vision works, the most important number in an artist’s career may no longer be how many streams they have.

It may be how much of their career they actually own.
