In March, Paradigm Talent Agency laid off hundreds of staffers due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The laid-off employees reportedly received no severance and only one month of health care and benefits. Now, according to a new report by Billboard, several former Paradigm employees have launched their own talent agency called TBA. According to Billboard, TBA’s artist roster currently boasts nearly 100 clients, including the War on Drugs, Courtney Barnett, Chvrches, Beirut, Yaeji, Hot Chip, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Helado Negro, and more. Read Billboard’s full report here.

TBA was launched by former Paradigm staffers Marshall Betts, Avery McTaggart, Amy Davidman, Ryan Craven, and Devin Landau. The new agency has offices in New York and Los Angeles. TBA will initially focus on replenishing income for artists who lost touring revenue due to mass live event cancellations in the past several months.
