What a thriller! You may be rethinking those dreams of flying off on holiday again after reading Clare Mackintosh’s latest tense standalone. Mina is mother to Sophia and wife to police officer Adam, but their marital issues prompt her to volunteer as cabin crew on a history-making non-stop flight from London to Sydney. All is going swimmingly until a group of undercover eco-warriors make themselves known. They want access to the cockpit – and suddenly Mina has to make a heart-wrenching decision. Should she save her little daughter, or the lives of the 353 passengers on board the Boeing 777? Prepare for an edge-of-the seat journey with plenty of turbulence before you find out Mina’s choice.
