Wonderama Ribbon Cutting Ceremony At Times Square

Iconified as “The Cross Roads of the World” or “The Center of the Universe”, Times Square is “the brightly illuminated hub of the Broadway theater district, one of the world’s busiest pedestrian intersections, and a major center of the world’s entertainment industry.” New York’s most famous landmark and liveliest area with its costumed characters and bright lights of  massive digital billboards was the scene of the legendary and quintessential children show “Wonderama.”

This July 25th marked the beginning of the 7th season of Wonderama, preluded by an epic ribbon cutting ceremony inspiring American youth to never lose their sense of wonder. Joined on stage by Robert Santos, head of the US Census Bureau, the Times Square Alliance, Dr. Bernice King, daughter of Martin Luther King, world renowned composer and film music architect Randy Edelman, philanthropist and entrepreneur John “SohoJohnny Pasquale” hosts David Osmond, Coco and Breezy and others, Wonderama U launched the Kids Career Connection Experience.

Wonderama is a cross-platform media and entertainment lifestyle program that marries positive social impact with good TV. Building upon the legacy of the iconic “Wonderama” kids variety show that aired on U.S. television for over four decades, we create original and “curated” content that seeks to entertain, educate and inspire kids and families in this expanding market. Wonderama’s core mission is to encourage kids to aspire to their dreams, and we do that with the greatest respect to our audience. The new Wonderama is now in production of its seventh full season of original programming. For more information, visit www.wonderamatv.com. Join the conversation @wonderamatv.
