Caroline Polachek has released a new remix of “Welcome to My Island” featuring Charli XCX and the 1975’s George Daniel. The house-inflected remix is the latest offering from Polachek, who’s set to release her upcoming album, Desire, I Want to Turn Into You, in February. Check out “Welcome to My Island (George Daniel & Charli XCX Remix)” below.

This isn’t the first time Charli XCX and Caroline Polachek have worked together. In 2021, they collaborated with Christine and the Queens for “New Shapes,” the second single from Charli’s 2022 album Crash, and Polachek also made an appearance on the Pop 2 song “Tears.”

Desire, I Want to Turn Into You is the first new album from Polachek since 2019’s Pang. Both releases include contributions from Danny L Harle, who’s featured on the new album alongside other producers like Dan Nigro and Jim-E Stack. Along with “Welcome to My Island,” Polachek has released additional singles including “Sunset,” “Billions,” “Bunny Is a Rider.” She’s also heading out on tour in February, with dates across Europe and North America later this year.
