The Irish singer’s interpretation of “The Skye Boat Song” will soundtrack season seven’s title sequence

Sinéad O’Connor has shared her version of “The Skye Boat Song,” the theme for Starz’s historical sci-fi drama series Outlander. The song will soundtrack the title sequence for the show’s seventh season, which returns this summer. Check it out below.

Nothing Compares, the Kathryn Ferguson documentary that chronicles the singer-songwriter’s career premiered on Showtime last September. Her memoir Rememberings was published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Books & Media in June 2021. Her last full length album was 2014’s I’m Not Bossy, I’m the Boss.
