Ayo Edebiri has been announced as the host for the February 3 episode of Saturday Night Live, with Jennifer Lopez set as the musical guest. It will be a first-time appearance for Edebiri, who won an Emmy Award for her acting on the FX comedy The Bear this month, and the fifth for Lopez.

Apart from The Bear, Edebiri recently appeared in the films Bottoms, Theater Camp, and The Sweet East. She has also worked as a former writer for the TV shows Big Mouth and Dickinson.

Lopez last hosted SNL in 2019 after appearing in the film Hustlers. She will release This Is Me… Now, her first new album in over a decade, on February 16. It will arrive alongside a feature film released through Amazon Prime Video, which is described as a narrative-driven reflection on her journey to find love. Lopez’s last album, A.K.A., came out in 2014.
