October 18, 2024: New York: Let Me Help, Inc boldly presents the music of film score composer and pop recording artist Randy Edelman in a one night only musical spectacular as he celebrates the journey of his multi- faceted careers through narrative and song in “Waltzing On A High Wire” at the iconic Lincoln Center.
His solo performance will take place in the lavish Appel Room overlooking the entire cityscape just as the setting sun appears with its orange and magenta sky of fire exploding like a blazing inferno and melting into a sea of gold and crimson right before the battle cry of night where the only achievement of darkness is to show the starlight more clearly. A perfect scenario for the silver sounds of one of the most accomplished pianists of modern times offering some of the most beautiful songs, all so fluent in emotion.
While singing on the edge of a skyscraper, Randy will be showcasing his pop songs covered by legendary artists including Barry Manilow (A Weekend In New England), Patti LaBelle (Isn’t it a Shame), Nelly (My Place), The Carpenters (You) and a variety of others. He will also be performing a medley of film scores that he has written as well, including “My Cousin Vinny”, “The Bruce Lee Story”, “Last of the Mohicans” and an array of others.
One of his most recent film scores will be released on December 3rd, 2024 along with the movie on Amazon Prime. The film is a self-exorcism themed thriller called “The Beast Inside.” The score is a beautiful voyage into the dark, ambient side of Randy’s music. The often gothic ethereal wave although ominous and sinister also shares sparks of vulnerability and sweetness and is some of the most breathtaking music ever written. Randy keeps us waiting for the flame of heaven to rise and release a single Spark of divinity with Gregorian chants, euphoric tones and empathetic corners. His hit song “Pretty Girls” is also included in the movie.
Ahead of Lincoln Center Randy will be rounding the corner of 57th and Seventh on what will most likely be a cold blistery winter‘s twilight. He will be passing before the eyes of the colossal, staggering, Carnegie Hall’s anointed self-portrait billboard, adorned in his camel colored Tom Ford coat with his usual pajamas underneath. No urban night is quite like New York with square after square of flame set up and cut into the aether, especially nearest the Holidays where Composer Randy Edelman will be performing his solo one man extravaganza at one of the most prestigious venues on the planet on December 8, 2024 @7:30 in his Carnegie Hall premiere.
This comes on the eve of the release of his brilliant new full-length album “Waltzing On A High Wire” via Tribeca Records, an 11 track wonder which is a glowing excursion through the tiniest and most intimate production details both musically and lyrically while bestowing personal insight into the composer himself. The double vinyl album package contains a lyric insert and two colorful discs, one a cerulean blue and the other a bright, fiery, red crimson. The album also available in a vinyl CD format as well as on every streaming platform worldwide. Already gathering rave reviews “Waltzing On A High Wire” the upcoming concerts support the album’s unveiling.
