The Trump administration has sent more than 200 alleged gang members to a prison in El Salvador, in a move that has sparked claims that it has defied a judge’s order.

The White House has denied “refusing to comply” with the order, saying instead that it had “no legal basis” and that it had been issued after the plane had taken off.

But the administration is facing a huge backlash after the deportees were put on a plane without any judicial proceedings.

On Day 58 of Trump’s presidency, US correspondents James Matthews and Mark Stone discuss what the implications are, and ask if he can break immigration law, what could be next?

Plus, fighter Conor McGregor has been to the White House – and can France demand for the Statue of Liberty to be returned?
