Wendy Stuart will be hosting TriVersity Talk! This Wednesday at 7pm!
Following twelve weeks of intensive sessions, Project Transcend NYC, the Body Mapping experience that highlights the personal journey of six visual artists from the transgender and gender nonconforming communities opens at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center in Manhattan (“The Center”) on March 31st from 6 – 9pm
The art will run at The Center through May, 2026.
Six wholly individualized and beautiful pieces of art were created that do what art is supposed to do: expose truths in all their colors. The process was also captured by photographer Kim Hernandez (They/Them) throughout the twelve weeks.
Wendy Stuart will have two of the Project Transcend artists – Luca Beau (They/He) and TheeAmeirahNeal (She/Her), along with Project Transcend NYC Director, Cheryl Paley (She/Her).
Artist Luca Beau is a pyrography artist, poet and zinester. His works play around with ideas on physicality, identity and religious deconstruction.

Artist TheeAmeirahNeal is a Black Trans independent artist formerly based in Washington, DC now based in the Brooklyn Metropolitan area. She has been creating since she was a child. She specializes in paintings, murals, fashion illustration, graphic design, illustration and many other talents on the creative spectrum.
