First Look: The Tailor by Tim Sullivan

First Look: The Tailor by Tim Sullivan

Tim Sullivan’s neurodivergent detective, George Cross, returns for an eighth case in The Tailor on 16 July 2026. Once again, the Bristol-based detective sergeant will be working a murder. He’s solved cases involving a politician, a dentist, a bookseller, a teacher and more… this time the victim is a tailor.

Or he was. Because the man has been found dead in the toilet of the 10 o’clock train from Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington. The poor blighter didn’t even make it as far as Bath Spa, but this is a particularly brutal murder. In a few weeks, we’re planning to bring you a video reading from the novel by Tim Sullivan himself so be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel to pick that up when it happens.
