TV’s biggest stars are going for the gold.
The Emmy Awards 2026 are finally here, meaning all of your favorite television actors and creators are about to hit the red carpet dressed to the nines for the annual ceremony honoring the best in small screen entertainment.
Held at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles on Monday, Sept. 14, and hosted by Law & Order: Special Victims Unit‘s Mariska Hargitay, this year’s show boasts a list of nominees stacked with stars who delivered unforgettable performances ranging from dark and dramatic to gut-busting comedy and beyond. (See the full list of nominees here.)
In fact, several of last year’s winners—including The Pitt‘s Noah Wyle and Katherine LaNasa, in addition to Hacks‘ Jean Smart—are back to potentially claim another trophy—and possibly make history in the process.
Believe it or not, Smart could become the only female performer to ever win for every season of a series if she takes home her fifth consecutive trophy for Lead Actress in a Comedy. Euphoria star Zendaya could also achieve the same feat if she takes another trophy in the Drama category too.Â
