According to World Hunger day “over 815 million people in the world do not have food and 98% of the world’s undernourished live are in developing countries and Sub-Saharan Africa is the region with the highest prevalence (percentage of population) of hunger. The number of undernourished people rose from 200 to 224 million, accounting for 25 percent of the 815 million people undernourished in the world in 2016 One person in four there is undernourished” http://www.worldhungerday.org, http://www.fao.org.

These statistics shows that so many children will be without food or proper food to celebrate the yuletide and most especially vulnerable children living in Nigeria.

The Wishwall Foundation seek to change this narrative by making 2021 a remarkable one for vulnerable children in Nigeria making December,2021 imprinted in their heart of the children forever through Project “Christmas with the Wishmaker”

150 children from 4 vulnerable homes and children living with disability get to experience a better Christmas through the funding and donation received from the Wishwall Foundation.

The Council President of World Merit Nigeria, Bukola Olalere spoke to the Wish wall Founder about creating a memorable Christmas for Vulnerable Children and Ms Simonetta Lein loved the idea of making Children smile for joy and also be impacted during the yuletide season.

Ayomikun Titiloye, World Merit Nigeria Finance Director represented the Wishwall Foundation Founder Ms Simonetta Lein to present the gift items to children in the vulnerable homes. We will be visiting 4 homes in Ibadan, Nigeria.  We really cannot wait to capture the children reaction when we visit and we count it all joy to be a day before Christmas with the Kids.
